A CONTEMPORARY TWIST ON AN ANCIENT ART

The UCS grappling program teaches to effectively defend against grapplers, regardless of size. The curriculum consists of awareness, psychology and mechanics of clinch holds, choke holds, joint locks, nerve/muscle clusters, takedowns, throws and controlling techniques.
PROGRAM FEATURES
- Apply an arsenal of clinches, choke holds, joint locks and throws;
- React to grappling scenarios through situational awareness and energy sensitivity;
- Use sense of touch to react when peripheral vision is impaired or non-existent;
- Develop an understanding of human anatomy;
- Understand and apply offensive and defensive grappling psychology;
- Develop enhanced mental and physical endurance, tenacity and focus.
